Sunday! All of the New Purpose Fellowship is invited for a pulled- pork BBQ lunch after the second service. A wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude to this big-hearted Christian brother!

There will be a Power Prayer Meeting the first Wednesday of
each month at the church
, beginning 10am Wednesday Feb. 3.
Currently there are six ladies involved plus Meharet Yerga (a
missionary evangelist from Ethiopia.) The group is open to all and will incorporate prayer for our church, community and our country.

Valentine’s Day Extravaganza Sunday February 14, 6-9 pm. We will have a silent auction, music & great food. We need auction items and those who can help with the food.  Look for the sign- up sheets. Tickets on sale at just $5. Proceeds will go to buy a big storage shed.

Beth Moore Simulcast Event, “So Long Insecurity,” is coming to Clearwater Community Church Sat. April 24th! We encourage all our women to attend this event. Tickets are $15 and go on sale Feb. 2nd and expected to sell out quickly. Please contact Susan Hibbs at hibz3@aol.com if you would like to attend.

Chaplain Keith Schweikert will be teaching the class “Getting Healthier in 2010.” this class is about getting healthier in all aspects of our lives. The class begins Sunday February 7th from 9-10am. Please sign up in the cafe area. there will also be an ongoing “Getting Healthier” support group on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30pm beginning Feb 16th. This group’s emphasis will be on actually sticking to the habits that will make us healthier.

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with our New Year’s
Eve Dedication Service!

Beginning this month, Children’s Sunday School will be
available during second service.

The Women’s Christian Fellowship will meet 7pm Friday,
January 8 at the church. Come and help us make plans for our February 14 Extravaganza.

New Ladies Bible Study begins. We will study the new book He
Speaks To Me by Priscilla Shirer. First class Monday January 11. Cost for book is $12 paid in advance. Sign up in the Cafe area. Be sure to bring your mug/bowl and spoon on Jan. 11- we will have a soup party. Come hungry!

New Year’s Eve dedication service will be at
9pm here at New Purpose this Thursday December 31. Chaplain Keith Schweikert will lead a service of praises, testimonies, prayers, and scripture readings. There will also be public and private dedications to God. (Because of the late hour we ask that all parents of infants and toddlers make their own child care arrangements.)

Trip to the Holy Land November 2010 brochures are available at the information table. Please pick one up and register as soon as possible!

Join the whole New Purpose Church Family at our Christmas
Eve Service! We’ll meet in the parking lot outside the church at
7pm this Thursday. (Because of the late hour we ask that all parents
of infants and toddlers make their own child care arrangements.)
Anyone interested in bringing cookies to the service can consider
themselves especially blessed!

Food for Friends is a 12-month plan to benefit Religious
Community Services (the largest distributor of food to those in need in Pinellas Co.) Last month we raised enough money for 15 turkeys for the needy. This month we’re collecting hot cereal (Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, grits, etc.) Please bring your foodstuff donations to church next Sunday December 6.

Women’s Christian Fellowship is having a Christmas Tea this
Friday Dec. 4 from 2-4pm at Eleanor Eichelberger’s home
located at 1000 McLean St. in Dunedin. Bring your own special
china tea cup. Sign-up sheet in the cafe.

If you missed getting tickets for The Child at New Purpose, you can still catch the premiere at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks in Largo on December 11th. www.TheChildMusical.com Pam Sisk is organizing a van to go to the Dec. 11th show. Sign up sheet in the cafe.

Don’t forget about the Christmas Around the World event Sunday Dec. 13th at both services. If you have an interesting
nativity set to display or sell for that day please contact Dottie Johnson at 727-784-8024. There will also be a bake sale that day. If you can donate a baked good for that sale please contact Dottie at the number above. All funds raised go to the NPCC fund.

Speaking of December 13th, there will be a Youth Car Wash that morning during both services. This is a fundraiser for the youth to go to summer camp.

Thanksgiving Dinner and Worship Thursday
November 19 from 6:30-8:30pm.. Join us for this special New Purpose family event
here at the church.

Our very own Andy Mage has recorded a new CD entitled, Our
Smile. The album is a mix of original compositions and worship
favorites. It is available world-wide on iTunes and on CD from
Andy. (Great idea for Christmas presents.)
