Pastor
Jim Sisk
Jim is a native of West Virginia and has been in Florida since 1994. Following a successful career in the Methodist Church, Jim co-founded New Purpose Community Church in 2003. He and his wife Pam enjoy travel, SCUBA diving, and sports. They have five children and five grandchildren.
Associate Pastor/Youth
Johnny Mercado
Johnny Mercado comes to New Purpose with experience working with youth in four different states. He is also an accomplished musician who can hold his own on guitar, bass, and percussion. Johnny has a heart for God and a level of maturity that uniquely qualifies him for ministry with our youth. Prior to heading into youth ministry, he completed 20 years of service with FedEx. Johnny has a grown son and is married to the lovely Judy.
Chaplain
Keith Schweikert
Keith is a native of Ohio and has been in Florida since 1982. He has been involved in church, Christian school, and personal Christian ministry since 1983. He specializes in the area of personal spiritual freedom. He has three grown daughters and a teenage son. He enjoys chess, sports, and eating out.
Minister of Communications
Gary Richardson
Gary moved to Florida 1992 to work with the Worship TV Network on PAX. He has a background in education, broadcasting and ministry. He is co-author, along with Danny Hamilton, of the musicals The Rock & The Rabbi, DAVID, and The Witnesses. Gary joined Jim Sisk on staff at New Purpose in 2005. He has a much more beautiful bride than he deserves (Donna) and two wonderful sons (Jon Michael & Jeremy) and a amazing daughter-in-law (Jessca.)
Secretary
Marie DeMaso
Marie is a retired RN and a veteran of Small Groups and Bible Studies. She has impressive organizational skills, maturity, and a heart for God. She is blessed with a wonderful husband, (Joe) two terrific children (Eva & Brian), and a great son-in-law (Jason.)
Facility Manager
Fred Eichelberger
Fred and his family relocated to Florida in 1979. He spent 4 years active duty in the U.S. Navy and 10 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve. After 30 years with IBM, he retired as a middle manager. He is currently employed part time in the Revenue Department at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. Fred has served in church positions in the past as Finance Chairman, Business Manager and Facilities Director.
